Job Title: Data Management Technician
Description
We seek a full-time employee to help manage data at a customer’s site. This employee will work with a team working towards completing Plant Maintenance projects of various sizes for the customer. These projects will include data manipulation of equipment, bill of materials, maintenance procedures, and schedule records in the maintenance management system. The employee must also be able to create reports out of the system for project turnovers and customer data requests.
Experience:
- Must have 1-3 years of experience in. data management
- Have average to advanced Excel skills and understand Excel functions
- Understand basic database concepts (table structure, queries)
- SAP or MMS End-User experience is a plus
- VBA or general programming knowledge is a plus
Need to be willing/able to:
- Perform data entry when required
- Organize and clean large amounts of data in a consistent manner
- Analyze large amounts of data and summarize it
- Research when there are unknowns in projects
- Adhere to established data standards
- Communicate clearly and effectively
- Give attention to detail
- Meet project deadlines when required
- Travel to and work from the greater Mt Vernon, IN area
