*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant to join our team, providing support in various areas such as caregiving, social work, and special education. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and possess excellent communication skills.
*Duties*
- Assist in caregiving tasks for individuals with developmental disabilities
- Support with home and community care activities
- Utilize American Sign Language when necessary to communicate effectively
- Collaborate with professionals in behavioral health and social work
- Provide assistance in childcare and special education settings
*Experience*
-Must have High School Diploma or GED
- Prior experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of American Sign Language is a plus
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Ability to drive for client visits or program requirements
- Background in social work, childcare, or special education is beneficial
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
