Chick-fil-A North Abilene is looking for Delivery Drivers. A delivery driver for Chick-fil-A would be responsible for bringing the Chick-fil-A experience to our guests in the comfort of their own home. As a Driver, you would be able to make your own schedule by picking up shifts at your convenience.
Here is some of the responsibilities for our delivery drivers:
- Delivering meals to our guests at their requested destination
- Maintain a clean vehicle at all times, while representing Chick-fil-A North Abilene.
- Select schedule “blocks” each week, upon which you'll be working.
- Inspect orders for accuracy and completion before leaving for a delivery
- Return any equipment or documents at the end of your shift that belongs to Chick-fil-A North Abilene
- Complete Driver logs and reports
- Maintain Chick-fil-A professionalism at all times, while representing Chick-fil-A North Abilene
REQUIREMENTS
- At least, 18 years of age
- Be able to use your own vehicle for transportation
- Must have a working smartphone with a data plan, GPS and space to download necessary apps for the job
- Can provide a valid state-issued driver's license
- At least 2 years of driving experience with a clean driving record
- Ability to carry delivery tote bags (approximately 5-40lbs)
- Must be able to bend over, twist, reach above shoulder level, crouch or stoop, kneel, stand and or sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to operate a vehicle in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Previous delivery or professional driver experience is preferred, but not required
In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have. Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants. Produce is delivered fresh to our kitchens several times a week. Salads are chopped and prepared fresh throughout the day.
