Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, driver uses their personal vehicle.
- Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of products to prevent damage during transit.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining timely deliveries.
- Provide outstanding customer service by interacting positively with clients upon delivery.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
- Communicate any issues or delays with management promptly.
- Assist the cook with dishwashing, stock and any other assistance they may need while not on deliveries.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with route driving and local area navigation is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally.
- Experience with heavy lifting and moving items safely is preferred.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- A registered and insured vehicle is necessary.
