Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental wellness center. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment for use.
- Manage patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Take and record vital signs as needed.
- Provide support in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Utilize dental software for scheduling, patient management, and medical records.
- Operate dental equipment for patient imaging when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office, adhering to infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental documentation practices and maintaining accurate medical history updates and dental records.
- Proficient in using dental practice management software is a plus.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and information security.
- Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to work well with patients, demonstrating patience and empathy.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
- Certification as a Dental Assistant is a plus but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
