Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
- Take and develop X-rays as required, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software and manage appointment scheduling.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Implement infection control procedures and maintain aseptic techniques throughout the clinic.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow within the clinic.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental management systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Certification in radiography or willingness to obtain certification if not already held.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.07 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
