Position Details
- Location: West Bloomfield, MI (Maple Rd)
- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (or until last patient is completed)
Key Responsibilities
- Chairside Assistance: Deliver high-quality care while supporting the dentist during procedures.
- Instrument Sterilization: Ensure all dental tools are properly cleaned and maintained per infection control standards.
- Radiography Support: Assist with taking and processing dental X-rays (X-ray certification preferred).
- Patient Records: Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with privacy standards.
- Appointment Management: Efficiently schedule and manage patient visits to support seamless workflow.
- Front Office Support: Help with patient check-ins, phone calls, and general administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Dental Assistant Certification from a recognized program (required)
- X-Ray Certification preferred (but not mandatory)
- ITero Scanner Experience preferred (but not mandatory)
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional care
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $25 – $30 per hour (based on experience)
- Paid Holidays: After 6 months of employment
- Health Insurance: Available after 6 months of active employment
