Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with dentists and other team members to support various dental procedures while maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.
Duties
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared.
- Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
- Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and documenting treatment plans.
- Utilize 3D scanners and medical imaging technologies to aid in diagnostics and treatment planning.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Educate patients on post-operative care, oral hygiene practices, and preventive measures.
- Support pediatric dentistry by creating a comfortable atmosphere for younger patients.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient flow and satisfaction.
Skills
- Proficient in dental assisting techniques with a solid understanding of anatomy related to dental health.
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software for managing medical records and scheduling appointments.
- Knowledge of endodontics procedures is preferred but not required.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus, enhancing our ability to cater to younger patients.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
