We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional service and ensuring a smooth operation at the front desk. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and understanding of insurance.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Handle phone inquiries, providing information about services and answering patient questions.
- Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
- Utilize Dentrix software for patient management and record keeping.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient service and care.
Skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and staff alike.
This position is to help front desk for two days a week and assist for two days a week in operatories. Assisting is for suctioning, sterilizing instruments, and breaking down rooms.
No experience necessary. X-ray license or in school training will be great.
Multiple language skills such as Spanish is helpful.
This position is available for m,t,w, and fridays.
