We are seeking a bilingual (English & Spanish) Dental Receptionist / Treatment Plan Coordinator to join our growing office.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients with a warm, professional demeanor
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls, emails, and messages
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring efficient use of the schedule
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
- Present treatment plans to patients, clearly explaining procedures, costs, and payment options
- Assist patients in understanding insurance coverage and financing options
- Collect and process patient payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Maintain patient records and update information in the dental management system
- Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow
- Translate information between Spanish-speaking patients and the dental team when needed
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Qualifications:
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish (required)
- Prior dental office or medical front desk experience preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes is a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with dental or medical practice management software (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent required

Skills
- Proficiency in documentation review and maintaining accurate records.
- Strong organizational skills with experience in an office environment, preferably within a dental or medical setting.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Previous front desk experience in a dental office is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical administrative support practices is beneficial.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
- Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
