The Manager of Deposit Services is responsible for the efficient operation of the Deposit Services Department, ensuring that critical processes are completed and that all deadlines are met. The manager will strategically assign work and delegate tasks to maximize productivity and accuracy. This manager will establish and maintain detailed department procedures that meet our Legal requirements, minimize risk, and allow the company to effectively serve customers. This manager is responsible for 14 employees, including hiring, scheduling, motivating, coaching, development, and performance reviews. This manager will develop an advanced degree of knowledge related to check processing, Federal Reserve correspondence, ACH, and regulatory requirements. The Manager of Deposit Services will work with the Project Keystone Exceptions team to develop and implement a new system for processing exceptions.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent
Banking experience is required.
Supervisory experience is preferred.
Must be resourceful with the aptitude to learn various applications and systems and to apply that knowledge to daily operations and situations.
Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively implement change.
Ability and desire to lead and work as part of a team and with people of diverse backgrounds.
