The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multi-task. Being a team player with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and lead by example, combined with a strong focus on delivering first-class customer service are key. Dermatology experience a plus.
- Assists Physician with patient office visits which include, rooming patients, scribes notes for Physician, prepare specimens, obtain consents and enter all medical history in patient electronic medical record.
- Assists Physician with Surgeries, biopsies, and other Clinical and Cosmetic procedures, Mohs assistance experience a plus.
- Prepares and reviews patient chart at least 24 hours prior to patient’s appointment. Reviews charts for completeness ensuring all required information is included.
- Performs administrative tasks, including form completions, prescription refills, referrals, and patient educational material.
- Ensure the confidentiality of all of our patient records and care per confidentiality policy and HIPAA regulations.
- Provide coverage for other front-office staff as needed.
- Continually possesses a positive attitude with impeccable customer service skills.
- Assists in the ordering, receiving, and stocking of office supplies.**
- Manages autoclave and cleaning instruments for procedures and surgeries.'
