Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Design Manager who will play a key role in shaping and delivering customized outdoor living spaces for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a blend of creative design skills, technical knowledge, and a strong ability to collaborate with customers to bring their visions to life. You’ll work directly with clients, manage design projects from start to finish, and produce high-quality renderings and detailed plans that align with client needs and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Interaction: Meet with clients to discuss their vision, needs, and preferences for their outdoor living spaces.
- Design Creation: Develop and present creative outdoor living designs that include landscaping, patios, kitchens, fire pits, water features, and more.
- Renderings & Plans: Create detailed, accurate 3D renderings, CAD drawings, and plans to bring your designs to life and ensure they are ready for construction.
- Project Management: Oversee the design process from concept through to completion, ensuring projects meet client expectations and are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, operations, and construction teams to ensure seamless execution of designs.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the design and implementation process, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Design Manager, Landscape Designer, or similar role in the outdoor living or architecture field.
- Strong proficiency in design software, including 3D rendering tools (SketchUp, Lumion, etc.) and CAD programs (AutoCAD, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- Ability to balance creative vision with technical feasibility and budget considerations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of outdoor construction materials, landscaping techniques, and design trends is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
