As an Exception Investigator Writer at Lonza AG, you will play a key role in our ambitious research team in Houston, TX. This outstanding opportunity allows you to lead critical deviation investigations, ensuring flawless compliance with cGMP standards. Key responsibilities:
- Write high-quality investigation reports, translating technical events into clear, concise summaries.
- Analyze data, assess product impact, identify root causes, and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in meetings, and provide investigation updates.
- Conduct on-the-floor observations and associate interviews to gather investigation data.
- Share investigation updates with internal leadership and external collaborators through presentations.
- Support and mentor team members on complex deviations and problem-solving strategies.
- Manage multiple investigations and meet strict timelines for closure.
Key requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in technical writing, ideally in biotech or life sciences manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of cGMP and quality systems; TrackWise experience is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Collaborative, dedicated, and adaptable to change.
