JOB OVERVIEW: This position is responsible for preparing/serving food and the day to day delivery of food to patient care areas. This position will assist the Dietary Manager/Dietitian in daily operations, in addition to duties as a diet aide.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
1. Make and deliver patient food trays as per physician orders.
2. Furnish and deliver nutrition supplements.
3. Assist Dietary Manger as needed.
4. Keep counter and tables clean in dining room.
5. Monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared.
6. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen area and equipment on a daily basis.
