Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dining Room Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dining establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail, ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage dining room staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery
- Oversee dining room setup and cleanliness
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Implement and maintain restaurant policies and procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in catering, casual dining, or fine dining
- Knowledge of POS system is a plus
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Familiarity with kitchen management practices
- Experience in staff training and development
- Bartending experience is advantageous
- Background in hotel management is beneficial
- Proficient in interviewing and hiring processes
