Job Summary
We are looking to hire one person for afternoon shift 2p-10p and one person for midnight shift 10p-6a. Healthcare experience is preferred but not required. Training done on site. Applicants must be 18 or older, able to pass a background check, and have reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Assist Residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation of medication administration.
- Provide memory care support for residents experiencing cognitive challenges.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents while respecting their privacy and dignity.
- Document daily activities, changes in client condition, and any incidents in accordance with facility policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for each resident.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in patient care, home care, or assisted living with the elderly population is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with Residents and their families.
- Knowledge of resident rights and commitment to upholding them at all times.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
