The compensation range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000.
- Develops and implements proper project management processes, actively monitors project progress, and ensures project scope completeness, consistency and technical integrity; assigns staff to projects and assignments.
- Develops corrective action plans, ensures complaints are registered and formally solved, and/or escalates issues as appropriate.
- Creates and manages department budget and recovery rate targets, monitors and controls project engineering costs and budget, and implements and maintains an effective project technical risk management process.
- Implements and maintains as effective project technical risk management process by establishing internal prevention and detection controls that addresses potential business risks of inefficiency, ineffectiveness, fraud, abuse or mismanagement with reasonable assurance.
- Implements and adheres to change control processes in projects.
- Leads or contributes to BA and Regional Project Execution coordination meetings to foster alignment of tools, processes and standards across the company.
- Provides regular updates to the Project Execution Manager of BA or Region on project and process issues; develops and implements agreed-upon improvements and provides ad-hoc analysis and presentations.
- Establishes policies, procedures and improvements that are aligned with company objectives and supports and implements new structures and strategies.
- Leads, directs, and motivates staff by establishing open communication of the principles, objectives, targets and processes for project execution; defines team and personal goals based on department needs; conducts mid-year and annual reviews for team members and provides regular feedback.
- Provides staff with training and development opportunities to build and maintain world-class Project Execution capabilities.
- Works in conjunction with Human Resources on all hiring related activities, employee relations, and employee development.
- Must arrive at work predictably and promptly.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in engineering, economics, or business administration with 7 years of project execution and supervisory experience including a broad range of technical and commercial knowledge covering multiple disciplines; or a combination of education and experience.
- Microsoft Office and enterprise software required; SAP preferred.
- PMI Certification preferred.
