A day in the life:
As a Director for the Claims and Loss Control team within our Business Insurance Property & Casualty Group, you will be responsible for delivering risk consulting services to clients, including implementing loss prevention programs, employee training and OSHA compliance services. In this position, you will:

Collaborate closely with Producers and other internal colleagues to assist clients in reducing actual and potential losses by creating, implementing, and improving safety and loss control programs based on loss history, regulation, organizational needs, and industry “best practices”. This can involve:
- Establishing relationships with clients and making regular visits to client locations
- Performing audits and assessments at client sites
- Researching safety and loss control issues
- Analyzing client loss information
- Developing and conducting presentations and training sessions with client management and employees.
- Serve as a liaison between insurance company loss control and clients by coordinating visits and service plans. Follow-up and assist clients with implementing recommendations submitted by insurance company loss control representatives.
- Manage strategic claims review meetings with clients.
- Track all client services, projects, and progress.
- Attend industry and professional meetings, conventions, seminars, and training courses within scope of employment.
What You Need To Have
- 8-10+ years of relevant industry experience with insurance claims, loss control and/or safety management, ideally within the Real Estate and Construction industries
- Technical knowledge of OSHA regulations for Real Estate, Construction and general industry, loss control “best practices” and workers compensation programs
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of internal and external entities including Producers, client leadership and insurance company representatives.
What Makes You Stand Out
- ARM, LCM, CSP and/or other safety related designations
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Safety management or related discipline
- Knowledge of loss control strategies related to environmental remediation, vehicle operations, property inspection, fire prevention, general liability, etc.
- Knowledge of DOT, NFPA, ANSI and Industrial Hygiene Practices

The applicable base salary range for this role is $90,100 to $167,900.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
