Wage Scale $32.91- $40.18. Hire on rate is up to midpoint of $37.84, dependent on prior experience, education, and other qualifying factors, plus earned Sales Bonuses.

Chancellor Health Care seeks an experienced Director of Community Relations to build and maintain census at Revere Court, a 56-apartment assisted living community specializing in providing quality and loving care to seniors living with memory loss or related conditions.

The Director of Community Relations is responsible for developing a network of professional referral sources, generating inquiries, and closing sales (the last is critical) so the community maintains full occupancy. Must have prior experience in sales, preferably to hospitals. Must love working with senior citizens. Must be creative, confident, energetic, and love meeting new people; this is not a position for a shy person. Since the job is with seniors and their families, must be patient and empathetic. The position requires community visitation and cold calling to prospective referral sources. Must have own transportation and be available to work flexible hours. Would prefer someone who is into social networking and is familiar with the local community.
