The Director of Operational Excellence role is a key player of the ministry leadership team, reporting only to the Director of Discipleship and Founders. This is a challenging but vital role in a ministry that has a great vision for impact and growing.

DOE FOLLOWING DUTIES:
- Designing and implementing ministry daily operations.
- Establishing policies that promote ministry core values and vision.
- Overseeing operations of the ministry and the work of directors.
The goal of the DOE position is to secure the functionality of the ministry and its programs and to drive extensive and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement ministry strategies, plans and procedures that adapt to the core values and mission of Power Cross.
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
- Establish policies that promote and ingrain the Core Values & Vision of the ministry.
- Oversee daily operations of the ministry and the work of directors (F&F, Athletic, Academic, Admin, Meal Programming).
- Prepare monthly program calendars for participants for review by the 20th of the month (for the following month calendar- ie: September 20th review October calendar)
- Build weekly/monthly Ops and expected hours for Directors and Coaches. Provide to all by the 23rd of the month for the following month.
- Assist in route development for all programs, overseeing that Directors are utilizing resources and time the best for maximum functionality and performance.
- Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
- Write and submit reports to the DOD and Founders in all matters of importance.
- Assist DOO in vision casting and developing programs and services for future ministry ventures.
- Participate in expansion activities and planning for programming that will further the mission of Power Cross and kingdom building.
- Analyze, summarize, present and proactively initiate ideas for process improvements and other innovations designed to create significant improvement in operations, process efficiencies, and/or enhanced quality.
- Provide Key Metric Guidelines for Directors to gauge program success. Provide weekly, monthly, and seasonal Key Performance Indicators and live tracking for Directors and Coaches.
- Manage relationships with partners/vendors/volunteers/parents/participants.
- Assist in training and onboarding of all new coaches and directors.
- Oversee all athletic equipment (including items for field maintenance and preparation), uniforms, and gear. Creating a detailed inventory of all items and processes for checking out uniforms and gears to each team.
- Oversee order request for all athletic gear, uniforms, and equipment needed at least 6 weeks prior to season starting.
- Aid in scheduling travel for all athletic teams and logistics for travel.
- Work with athletic directors on league selection and tournament scheduling.
- Managing general correspondence for athletics (e.g., text, emails, handouts- communications with parents, teachers, and athletic contacts ). Proofreading communications documents.
- Assist in scheduling athletic program facility usage.
Requirements and skills:
- Proven experience as Director or relevant role in organization.
- Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
- Extensive knowledge of Google Suite.
- Basic coding ability.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
- Strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
The primary work hours of this position are 11:00am-8:00pm Monday-Thursday, Friday 10:00am-1:00pm for planning and meetings as needed, Saturdays are dependent on the athletic and program schedule of participants. This shifts seasonally.
