Job Overview

Join our team in "Doing the Most Good" as Director of Operations at our Adult Rehabilitation Center. We're seeking an experienced leader to oversee and coordinate activities related to budgeting, store sales, production, property & equipment management, and work therapy assignments. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient operations while supporting our mission to serve those in need.

Pay Rate: $65,000-$70,000 Annually

Status: Full Time, Exempt

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

  • Manage staff and resources with integrity and fiscal accountability
  • Support budget preparation and daily management of center budget
  • Review finance and sales reports daily/weekly for accuracy
  • Guide departments to work within approved budgets

Production & Store Operations

  • Oversee all product donation pick-up, store delivery, and warehouse operations
  • Develop and implement product control procedures to prevent shrinkage
  • Manage vendor relationships for rag and bulk sales
  • Oversee store operations and participate in sales forecasting
  • Lead monthly manager meetings and develop marketing strategies
  • Monitor product acquisition, production, and sales trends

Property & Equipment Management

  • Oversee preventative maintenance of center properties and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA Safety Guidelines and TSA Policies
  • Manage ARC Fleet compliance with Federal/State regulations
  • Control property, utility, and supply waste
  • Coordinate property repairs and manage vendor relationships
  • Work with TSA Leadership on store expansion/contraction opportunities

Program Support

  • Collaborate with ARC Director for Rehabilitation Services
  • Supervise and train beneficiaries to maximize work therapy goals
  • Support department leaders in beneficiary success

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in business administration, marketing, or industrial arts/sciences
  • Five years of industry experience including production scheduling and supervision
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience considered

Required Certifications

  • Valid driver's license and qualification to drive TSA vehicles
  • Forklift certification (certified trainer preferred)

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong leadership and people development capabilities
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Strong communication abilities with staff at all levels

Physical Requirements

  • Regular standing, walking, and use of hands
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
  • Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, or kneeling
  • Valid driver's license required

Work Environment

  • Mixed warehouse/office/store environment
  • Weekend and evening hours required
  • Regular travel to center properties
  • Temperature fluctuations and moderate noise levels
