Summary

This new position within Emmi Roth is responsible for driving commercial and business excellence across the organization with a strong focus on maximizing revenue, profitability, and long-term value creation. By aligning all commercial efforts, the role will play a pivotal role in unlocking value, elevating capabilities, and building a high-performance culture.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Steer core initiatives across pricing, portfolio, category management, and customer segmentation to enhance market competitiveness and execution impact.
  • Establish Revenue Growth Management (RGM) as a strategic discipline, using price, mix, and promotional levers to drive sustainable, profitable growth.
  • Use advanced analytics on sales, market, and customer data to support data based decisions, improve ROI on commercial investments, and proactively identify growth opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to define and deploy an integrated commercial strategy aligned with business goals to deliver top and bottom line growth.
  • Work alongside the Director of Commercial Finance to design and manage performance frameworks, commercial KPIs, and dashboards to optimize trade investment and track ROI effectively.
  • Lead the development and management of commercial dashboards for Sales and Marketing to facilitate performance visibility and isolate issues/opportunities.
  • Lead the development of robust territory and account planning frameworks, and oversee sales enablement tools, playbooks, and training initiatives to accelerate sales effectiveness.
  • Drive strategic growth initiatives and market expansion, identifying new opportunities and high performing commercial investments.
  • Harmonize commercial processes across regions and teams to enhance scalability, efficiency, and knowledge sharing.
  • Act as a change agent, fostering a culture of high accountability, continuous improvement, commercial excellence and data-based decision making.


Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Required qualifications, skills, and experience for the job; education background, certifications, relevant work experience, technical skills, and soft skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years driving commercial excellence and efficiencies with experience in sales and/or business development roles
  • 5 years in Revenue Growth Management (RGM)
  • Experience in managing a major key account, strongly preferred
  • Experience in adjacent functions such as Category Management or Trade Marketing, strongly preferred
  • Strong track record in branded CPG, ideally across multiple food categories and complex market environments.
  • Leadership experience in driving cross-functional initiatives and collaborating effectively with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing at all levels of the organization.
  • Deep understanding of commercial strategy, sales execution, and marketing integration.
  • Highly analytical, results driven, and comfortable making decisions with imperfect data.
  • A hands on, pragmatic leader who can balance strategy with flawless execution.
