Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dish / Bus team member to join our fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our dining area and kitchen, ensuring that our guests have a pleasant dining experience. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively with the kitchen and service staff.
Duties
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces as needed.
- Assist in the organization of kitchen supplies and inventory management.
- Bus tables promptly after guests leave to ensure a clean dining environment for incoming patrons.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Ability to follow instructions of General Manager, Kitchen Management and Front of House Supervisors.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts throughout the week during evenings and weekends as needed.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional service are essential for success in this role.
