Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are spotless and ready for use. This position is essential for supporting the overall efficiency of our food service operations in a fast-paced environment.
The shifts we are looking for are Tuesday through Thursday as long shifts, and a short shift on Fridays.
Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, counters, and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
- Support the culinary team during peak hours by bussing tables and ensuring timely service.
- Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.
- Participate in the setup and breakdown of banquet events as required.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an organized workspace.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong cleaning skills with an emphasis on maintaining hygiene standards.
- Experience in food preparation or cooking is a plus.
- Familiarity with catering services or banquet experience is advantageous.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
