Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly cleaning countertops, floors, and food preparation areas.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support the culinary team.
- Bus tables and assist servers in clearing dishes to ensure a smooth dining experience.
- Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
- Participate in banquet service by preparing necessary items and ensuring timely delivery of clean dishes.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure an organized workflow during peak service times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling and sanitation standards is essential.
- Experience in culinary or food service roles such as cooking, catering, or serving is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards hospitality and customer service.
