Summary:
The dishwasher’s general responsibilities are to maintain all areas of the kitchen in a clean and sanitary fashion.

Qualifications:
Knowledge of food industry standards. Ability to work in a quick paced environment. Must hold up to date Sanitation license.
Immediate Supervisor:
Head Chef
Essential Functions:
- Have a general knowledge of dish washing machine and sanitation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Properly clean and store all supplies
- Have a knowledge of all storage locations
- Clean and maintain the dish machine on a daily basis
- Interact positively with all staff: servers, bartenders, and cooks
- Any other duties assigned by management
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
Psychological Considerations:
Dish staff may feel stress from challenges in a fast paced environment. They may also feel stress from being held responsible for the condition of the kitchen and kitchen equipment
Environmental Considerations:
Will be exposed to warm temperatures associated with working in a kitchen. Will be expected to maneuver in small areas.
Physiological Considerations:
Will be required to stand for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to lift light to medium weight objects.
Cognitive Considerations:
The dish staff must exhibit good problem solving ability, good judgment and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. They must maintain a professional appearance at all times. Must have the ability to work in warm tight areas and interact well with people.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
