Duties
- Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area and throughout the kitchen, including sweeping and mopping floors.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, following safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Ensure that all items are properly stored after cleaning to maintain an organized workspace.
- Help with inventory management by reporting any shortages or damaged items to the kitchen supervisor.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or culinary environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and sanitation practices.
