We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Duties
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils.
- Sort and stack clean dishes in designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors and countertops.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, including bussing tables and helping cooks.
- Follow food safety guidelines for proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow during busy periods.
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
