Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dishwasher/Dietary Aide to join our team in a Memory Care setting. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the food service department by assisting with food preparation, sanitation, washing dishes and ensuring that dietary needs are met for residents. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about the food industry and want to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of others.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation and assembly of food items according to dietary guidelines and menus.
- Ensure that all food production areas are clean, organized, and sanitized in compliance with health regulations.
- Ensure all dishes all washed according to healthcare setting standards.
- Help serve meals to patients, ensuring that dietary restrictions and preferences are adhered to.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas to promote a safe food service environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and assist with inventory management as needed.
- Participate in training sessions related to food safety and sanitation practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dishwasher or Dietary Aide or in a food service role is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food production processes and sanitation standards within the food industry is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being able to take initiative when necessary.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor when interacting with patients and staff.
- Must be able to follow instructions accurately and maintain attention to detail in all tasks related to food preparation and service.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
