We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Preparation Worker to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. You will assist in the preparation of food items, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, and support our chefs in delivering high-quality meals to our guests. Ideal candidates will have experience in food service, catering, or hospitality environments.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of various food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Perform bussing duties to ensure dining areas are clean and organized.
- Support banquet operations by preparing food items for large events.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment and work areas.
- Engage in cooking tasks as needed, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest quality.
- Handle food safely and comply with health regulations regarding food storage and preparation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Participate in catering events as required, providing excellent service to guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
- Culinary experience or formal training is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining a sanitary work environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team setting while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork and guest service.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
