As a Donor Engagement Associate, you’ll represent nationally recognized charitable organizations in public spaces, engaging with community members, building rapport, and inspiring them to support causes that truly matter. This Donor Engagement Associate is a hands-on, people-focused role ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with others and wants to make a difference through their work.
Donor Engagement Associate Responsibilities
- Represent charity partners in public settings events, storefronts, community spaces with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Initiate meaningful conversations with members of the public to raise awareness about charitable causes
- Clearly and confidently communicate key information about charity missions and how individuals can support them
- Encourage and process one-time or recurring charity donations using provided tools
- Maintain accurate records of donor information and fundraising campaign activity
- Participate in Donor Engagement Associate team meetings, campaign briefings, and on-site training sessions
- Meet personal and team outreach goals in a supportive, collaborative environment
- Uphold a positive and respectful public presence that reflects both Universal Promotions and our charity partners
Donor Engagement Associate Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior customer service, Donor Engagement Associate, sales, or outreach experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable engaging with people in-person
- Passionate about making a difference and representing mission-based organizations
- Comfortable working in dynamic public environments
- Self-motivated, dependable, and goal-oriented
- Open to feedback and committed to continuous learning
- Ability to work on-site full time (including some weekends and evenings as needed)
