Job Summary:
We are seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our team. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems under the guidance of experienced electricians.
Duties:
- Assist in installing electrical systems in new construction sites
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment
- Assist in repairing or replacing wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
- Gain knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and apply it to electrical installations
- Work alongside experienced electricians to learn about industrial electrical systems
- Perform low voltage installations and troubleshooting
- Use a voltmeter to test electrical systems for proper voltage levels
-Preferred to have 1 year electrical experience
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts and principles
- Familiarity with power tools used in electrical work
- Ability to work at construction sites and follow safety guidelines
- Interest in learning frame carpentry techniques related to electrical work
- Willingness to learn from experienced industrial electricians
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
