We are a fast-paced refurbishing company looking for a Part-Time Electronics Tester & Sorter to help us identify working and non-working devices and sort them accordingly for repair, resale, or recycling.
You will be responsible for testing a wide range of electronics including phones, tablets, laptops, video game systems (Xbox, PS4), controllers, record players, and small speakers. You must be able to quickly assess functionality, identify defects, and sort items into clearly defined categories (e.g., bad LCD, locked phone, defective port, cracked screen, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
- Test electronics for functionality and cosmetic condition
- Identify locked vs. unlocked phones
- Detect issues like bad LCDs, cracked screens, dead batteries, and more
- Sort tested items into labeled bins based on specific defects
- Check audio/visual output for speakers, record players, consoles, and controllers
- Accurately log device status when needed
Requirements:
- Prior experience testing phones, tablets, game consoles, and small electronics
- Strong familiarity with Xbox, PlayStation systems, and controllers
- Able to identify and understand device conditions (e.g., bad LCD, cracked glass, locked status)
- Must be hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to learn fast without constant supervision
- Reliable, efficient, and comfortable working in a warehouse environment
This is not a training-heavy role — we need quick learners who already know how to handle electronics confidently.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.50 per hour
