We are looking for an amazing PE Teacher to join WSA. This role will require strong skills in classroom management, working with a wide range of students, and the delivery of engaging instruction. The ideal candidate will possess, qualify, (or be interested in obtaining) a NC teaching license, value relationship building, and display exceptional organizational, and computer skills.

Job Summary:
The PE Teacher is responsible for advancing students’ physical ability and knowledge of sports. They are responsible for the welfare of their students and for ensuring that students can gain the qualifications they need to advance their education or their desired career paths after school.
Job Description:
- Supervising practical PE lessons, including both indoor and outdoor classes
- Ensuring that children compete to their ability level and aren’t exposed to unnecessary injury or illness through school sports
- Motivating school children to take up new sports or athletic pursuits
- Evaluating the performance of students throughout the school year
- Attending parents’ evenings and providing parents with comprehensive reports on their child’s progress
- Training and coaching school sports teams to compete and succeed in events
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,000.00 - $49,000.00 per year
