Elementary Psych postingThe Clinton Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time Elementary School Psychologist for grades 2, 3 and 4 to join our team for the 25-26 school year.The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments, analyzing data, and collaborating with educators and parents to support the academic and emotional well-being of our students.Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to identify students' needs. Write assessment reports analyzing the data collected, and providing diagnostic impressions as well educationally relevant recommendations Help develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.Participate in school meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide programs.Provide counseling and support to students facing emotional, behavioral, or academic challenges as appropriate.Stay current with best practices in school psychology and mental health.QualificationsValid DESE licensure as School Psychologist Experience working in an elementary school setting preferred.Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations.Bilingual proficiency is highly desirableWhy Join Us?At Clinton Public Schools, we are committed to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for our students and staff.
