Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our emergency response team. The EMT will provide immediate medical care to patients in emergency situations, ensuring their safety and well-being during transport to medical facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to perform physical examinations and provide urgent care.
Duties
- Assess patients' conditions through physical examinations and vital sign monitoring.
- Administer basic life support, including airway management and venipuncture when necessary.
- Provide patient care during transport, ensuring comfort and stability.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality in accordance with regulations.
- Perform heavy lifting as required when assisting patients or moving equipment.
Experience
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential for this role.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanor during emergencies.
