Description
We are looking for Enterprise IPs to perform Installation Services and/or Construction services within individual capable skillset(s); such as, but not limited to: installation of ONTs, routers, wireless devices, NIDs, underground fiber installation, overhead fiber installations, splicing, stick boring, pneumatic boring, directional drill boring, trenching, operating mini skid-steer, plowing, digging, gaffing, and ladder work for businesses.
This position will report to the job site daily, varies regularly, and depends on the project.
Schedule:
- Full time
- Regularly scheduled to work 40 hours a week.
- Typically 4-6 weeks away working at a time
Travel:
- 100%, likely out-of-state, in the United States

Requirements
- At least a high school diploma or GED equivalent, in addition to at least 1 year of experience with installations and maintenance repairs in the fiber or telecommunications industry.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Prior supervisor or foreman experience is a plus.
- Prior work-related experience is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets the company’s minimum safety standards.
- Skilled in Internet-related applications such as email and web browsers.
- Skilled in the use of basic hand tools and power tools.
- In-depth understanding of technology-based services, products, and networking.
- Able to meet physical requirements: climb ladders, dexterity in both hands, handle a 28 ft fiberglass ladder, work in confined spaces that may be damp and/or heights that could exceed 28 ft, lift and/or move up to 80 lbs., squat, kneel, bend, crawl and stand for long periods of time.
- Abide by NEC and NESC requirements
- Working in and around customers’ homes.
- Enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather.
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to work.
