The Entrepreneurship Program Manager is a new role and responsible for leading and managing programs within our entrepreneurial ecosystem. This person will continue to identify opportunities to evolve existing programming and create new opportunities to educate and support our entrepreneurs based on existing member’s needs. The focus in this role is to be the glue that connects our startups and entrepreneurs with the Lakeshore Advantage team and greater community, identify needs of our startups and create opportunities to support those needs.

Hours:
Full time, 40 hours per week
Reliable transportation required
Some evening or early morning events/meetings may be required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Baseline understanding and passion for small business development and venture creation
- Experience working collaboratively with a variety of organizations
- Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
- Experience managing a portfolio of programs and events
- Experience executing strategies to grow programs
- Government grant procurement and/or grant management experience a plus
- Strong at building relationships and comfortable with being the lead or supporting in various roles
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and work successfully with frequent interruptions
- Self-starter with the ability to identify the work that needs to be done and work independently
- Experience with CRM management and understanding of data quality
- Comfortable with utilizing and learning a range of technology systems tools
- Experience with Microsoft suite and macs; Experience with a customer service role
- Minimum of 2 years experience required, with a start-up, incubator or economic development experience a plus
Responsibilities:
- Member retention, recruitment and onboarding
- SURGE program management and events. Includes maintenance and creation of new programs to meet member needs, help executing on events with event team support and act as program host/liaison to facilitators and attendees
- Collaborate with marketing/event team for event/programming marketing needs
- Manage member pipeline to spread awareness of SURGE incubator by attending ecosystem events
- Oversight of member needs, be the point of contact for entrepreneurs
- Coordination SURGE coaches and mentors
- Responsible for community, engagement and fun within SURGE
- Lead on program grant reporting and metrics tracking

Salary
$55,000 - $63,000 per year
