Overton Security is currently hiring for Unarmed Special Events Security Officers in the South Dallas Area for local college campus. All candidates for this posting should be able to perform a foot patrol for the duration of their shift. This posting is for TEMPORARY AS NEEDED officer candidates who will be working at special events held by our clients.
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr paid weekly
Schedule: June 12th
Time TBD
Special Requirements: Candidates will be instructed to perform parking enforcement, wanding, traffic control, crowd control, and some foot patrols.
Candidates will need to have a Black Shirt, Pants, and shoes

Job Description:
As an Overton Special Event Security Officer, you will be a part of a results-oriented team responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for all our serviced properties. It is expected that you will demonstrate behavior consistent with Overton's core values of people, growth, service, and integrity.
Qualified applicants for Security Officer Positions must meet the minimum requirements as described below:
- High school diploma or GED
- Have a current/valid Guard Card issued by TXDPS (preferred)
- Have excellent English oral and written communication skills
- Be computer savvy and can utilize innovative, wireless technology
- Have flexible and weekend availability
- Maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standards
- Must have a neat and professional appearance
Responsibilities
- Patrol premises as directed to maintain order and establish a presence
- Monitor vehicles or people on the property
- Assist people in need
- Submit reports as directed
- Maintain a friendly demeanor with employees, students, and visitors
