Position Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented ex-crew professionals to join our team as Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinators. In this role, you will assist with candidate recruitment, project coordination, and end-to-end onboarding. Your shipboard experience will be invaluable in guiding new candidates through the process and ensuring they are fully prepared for their journey at sea.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the recruitment process by screening applicants, conducting interviews, and assessing suitability based on cruise line standards
Manage candidate pipelines for specific cruise line clients and job roles
Coordinate onboarding processes, including documentation, medicals, training schedules, visa arrangements, and pre-departure briefings
Communicate with cruise line representatives to ensure timely follow-up on assignments, approvals, and deployment dates
Provide guidance and mentorship to first-time seafarers based on your own shipboard experience
Maintain accurate candidate records and track progress using internal systems
Assist with internal projects related to talent development, academy coordination, and compliance
Participate in career fairs, training seminars, or webinars, where applicable
Requirements:
Previous cruise ship experience in any department (F&B, housekeeping, entertainment, deck/engine, etc.)
Strong understanding of shipboard operations and crew life
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Organized, reliable, and capable of managing multiple tasks or projects
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and online collaboration tools
Recruitment or HR experience is a plus but not required full training will be provided
