THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE
The Executive Communications & Initiative Specialist will work to support the Director of CEO Initiatives and the enterprise communications team to consistently deliver written and graphic materials to prepare the CEO and Executive leaders for a variety of internal and external business engagements. This may include logistics coordination, internal communication highlights, social media support and other project management, to ultimately drive Ulta Beauty’s long-term strategy forward. This individual will be involved in a range of projects including company town hall and leadership forum meetings. As a close partner to the communications team, this position may also assist with other communication channels and associate engagement initiatives.
YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:
- Serve as reliable, strategic partner to Director of CEO Initiatives in service of leaders
- Lead Executive Power Hour event coordination and preparation
- Support CEO social media and inbox needs
- Create graphic and written content for company intranet, digital workplace, and other internal speaking engagements and meetings
- Develop CEO presentation and talking points for speaking engagements
- Prepare briefing materials for CEO and executives
- Support recurring leadership meeting agendas and presentations
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with corporate functions to ensure timely delivery of balanced collaboration and materials
- Contribute to editorial calendar of proactive, evergreen CEO communication strategy
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead communication efforts for special projects as requested by leaders
- Provide after-hours coverage of social media channels at select times
- Leadership Forum & Town Hall event team support
- Community relations team support (e.g., Executive-related in-kind product donation requests)

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS
- Undergraduate degree in communications, journalism, public relations or human resources or related field of study.
- 3+ years of communications experience, preferably in a retail environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Graphic design proficiency; ability to create branded PowerPoint slides, and other graphic images for internal and external channels (social media)
- Video editing capabilities are a plus
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, sense of urgency and follow-through
- Excellent collaboration skills
- Ability to multi-task, make quick in-the-moment decisions and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Project management, time management, and strong planning and prioritization skills are essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Flexible, able to deal with ambiguity and change direction quickly
- Professional maturity to handle highly confidential information
