Real Options is a free women's health clinic with locations in Manchester and Nashua, New Hampshire, dedicated to providing confidential, compassionate care to individuals facing unplanned pregnancies. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Real Options offers a range of no-cost medical and support services in a judgment-free environment.
Job Description:
Major Responsibilities
Administrative:
- Provide managerial support, direction and supervision to the staffs and volunteers at BOTH centers.
- Ensure expenditures are in accordance with the annual budget and oversee the compilation of monthly statistical reports.
- Ensure all policies are properly followed, and develop and implement new policies, as necessary.
- Attend all board meetings and prepare a monthly report in advance of meetings.
Training:
- Conduct and/or oversee periodic volunteer training.
- Supervise volunteer in-service training and conduct regular staff meetings.
Development / Public Relations:
- Plan and execute major fund-raising events.
- Communicate with donors on a routine basis through direct mail pieces and newsletters.
- Establish, develop and maintain relationships with a network of local churches in the community, primarily utilizing pastors and church liaisons.
- Develop and maintain relationships with other ministries and organizations in the community that may meet needs of our clients through the expansion and visibility of the ministry of Real Options.
Qualifications
- Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
- Exhibit a strong commitment and dedication to the sanctity of human life, to the concept of biblical purity and to biblical principles for daily living.
- Be able to provide spiritual leadership, discipleship, encouragement and direction for the staff members and volunteers.
- Have supervisory experience over a number of years and be comfortable working with a Board of Directors.
- Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a helping field, or equivalent related experience.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills, through public speaking and writing.
- Experience in marketing, fund-raising and/or public relations development is a plus.
