Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges, providing support and implementing therapeutic interventions. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for clients through patient assessment, care, and behavioral therapy techniques.
Duties
- Conduct patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide direct patient care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Implement behavioral therapy strategies as outlined in treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records of patient progress.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education professionals, to support clients' development.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with healthcare providers.
- Engage with children and adults, fostering positive relationships to encourage participation in therapeutic activities.
- Monitor and report any changes in patients' behavior or condition to the supervising clinician.
Experience
- Previous experience in behavioral health or special education is preferred.
- Familiarity with patient care techniques and medical documentation practices is essential.
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy methods and patient assessment techniques will be beneficial.
- A background in using inhalation therapies or similar interventions is a plus.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
