Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Places Associates, Inc. This position is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our financial operations. The Bookkeeper will play a key role in ensuring compliance with accounting standards while contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software for accurate record-keeping.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial reports.
- Monitor cash flow and assist with forecasting financial trends.
- Support the auditing process by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Experience with financial report writing is a plus.
