We are looking for an experienced part-time dental assistant (General Dentistry) to join our small private practice here in Garden City. As a dental assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. We are looking for someone who is friendly, energetic and also a good communicator. Some duties may include:
- Assisting the dentist during procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take dental x-rays
- Perform dental charting and record patient information
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order new supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
Hours are as follows:
Monday 12-7 pm
Tuesday 9am-5pm
Thursday 9am-5pm (6pm winter)
