Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Manager to oversee group homes serving individuals with developmental disabilities in the Orlando area. This vital position is responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operation of one or more residential group homes while upholding the highest standards of care, safety, and dignity for the individuals we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure adequate staffing ratios and adjust schedules as necessary to meet the needs of residents.
Provide on-site support, including working shifts alongside Direct Support Staff as needed.
Conduct and coordinate residents’ medical appointments.
Maintain a respectful, person-centered environment where all individuals are treated with dignity.
Provide in-service training for staff and attend internal and external meetings.
Implement individual support plans and agency programs effectively.
Complete shopping and maintain household inventory and supplies.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support residents and team operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required with a minimum of 4 years of managerial experience in a related field. Associate degree in Social Services or a related field strongly preferred. Previous experience in a group home setting, working with individuals with developmental disabilities is required. Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record. Must be able to pass a Level 2 background screening and drug screening. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
This is an on-call position and may require flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $21.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
