Our restaurant is seeking a Sushi Chef with extensive experience preparing and serving sushi to customers. The ideal candidate for this position has a background in Japanese cuisine as well as experience in running kitchen operations and managing a team of employees. The Sushi Chef will be responsible for developing new recipes, creating special sushi dishes for holidays and special occasions, planning meals and making appropriate food purchases.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to prepare both traditional and unconventional sushi.
- Follow the proper procedures for preparing sushi.
- Be responsible for maintaining sanitary conditions in the kitchen.
- Have an understanding of Japanese culture and tradition.
