We are a well-established and dynamic CPA firm seeking a seasoned Tax Accountant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with strong technical skills and a passion for client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, estate, and trust tax returns
- Perform high-level review work, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic tax planning
- Communicate directly with clients to provide guidance and resolve complex tax issues
- Collaborate with team members on a wide variety of tax projects across diverse industries
- Stay current on federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- CPA designation preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years of recent public accounting experience with a focus on tax
- Proven expertise in preparing and reviewing 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, and 1041 returns
- Experience performing high level review work and assisting with junior staff development.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with major tax software platforms
