Surefire Market – Camp North End, Charlotte
Surefire Market is a bold new restaurant and retail concept launching soon at Camp North End. We’re known for delivering some of the best burgers and fried chicken in the city — and we’re building something bigger than just a kitchen.
Before we open our doors, all team members will train on our food truck to master the menu, execution, and service standards under real-world pressure. This is your opportunity to get in early, work directly with the founding team, and help define one of Charlotte’s most exciting new food brands.
Position 1: Expo
What You’ll Do:
- Manage the pass: double-check ticket accuracy, coordinate timing, and finish plates for service.
- Keep the kitchen aligned: communicate clearly with Flat Top, Fry, and FOH to maintain smooth flow.
- Final quality check on every order, presentation, temp, and build consistency.
- Jump in where needed to solve problems fast without disrupting the line.
- Maintain a clean, organized expo area that stays calm even during peak hours.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous expo or kitchen lead experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Sharp eye for detail and quality, nothing leaves unless it meets the standard.
- Strong communication and timing instincts.
- Calm, clear, and efficient under pressure.
Position 2: Build Station
What You’ll Do:
- Assemble sandwiches and burgers according to build sheets, exact portions, correct order, consistent every time.
- Toast buns, apply sauces, stack ingredients, and wrap or plate items quickly and cleanly.
- Communicate clearly with Flat Top, Fry, and Expo to stay in sync on timing and order flow.
- Keep your station clean, stocked, and organized for high-volume output.
- Flag any issues with prep, station setup, or food quality and resolve them fast.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in fast-paced kitchens, ideally in an assembly or finishing role.
- Fast, clean hands — you move with speed but don’t cut corners.
- High attention to detail and pride in getting it right.
- Dependable, steady, and locked in from open to close.
Training Schedule (on the truck):
- Thursday: 4 PM – 10 PM
- Friday: 4 PM – 10 PM
- Saturday: 12 PM – 10 PM
- Sunday: 12 PM – 7 PM
- Schedule will change once we open our Camp North End location
Pay: Weekly, based on experience and role.
